MARINATED FLANK STEAK 
1/2 c. soy sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/4 lb. flank steak

Combine first 4 ingredients in a non-metal container. Add steak and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, turning occasionally.

Remove from marinade and save. Broil flank steak 5 minutes on each side (or until desired doneness is reached). Slice again the grain into strip. Serve with warm marinate. Serves 4-6.
