TUNA PURPLELOW | |
1 cup purple cabbage 1 cup sliced mushrooms 1/2 cub chopped onions 1-2 cans tuna 1/2 cup butter 1 cup broccoli 1-3/4 cup milk 1-1/2 cup hot water 1/4 cup corn starch 2 tbsp salt 1/2 bag curled noodles Chop onion, cabbage and broccoli. Sauté in pan with butter, transfer to covered stew pot or cooking pan. As soon as it starts to brown, add tuna, corn starch, milk, water, salt and curled macaroni. Bring to boil, reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until noodles are as you desire. Serve over rice on buttered bread or toast. Makes six small servings or three large. Portions are not specific; for example you can add cream cheese or use less tuna. You can add sugar or use less butter, you can skip the dry ingredients and noodles and just use tuna helper’s creamy broccoli. Submitted by: Mups007 |
