CHOCOLATE CHIP ICE CREAM PIE
1/2 c. chocolate syrup
1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/4 c. sour cream
1 qt. chocolate ice cream, softened

Coat bottom and sides of an 8-inch pie plate lightly with butter. Combine chocolate syrup and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until hot (about 45 seconds). Take out 1/4 cup of mixture and set aside. Combine remaining chocolate mixture and Rice Krispies until Krispies are well coated. Press mixture over bottom and up sides of pie plate. Freeze about 15 minutes, until firm.

Combine the 1/4 cup of chocolate mixture and the sour cream. Mix well. Spread half the ice cream in pie plate. Drizzle with half the sour cream mixture. Top with rest of ice cream, then the rest of sour cream mixture. Freeze pie, covered, until firm, about 1 hour.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
