1 head lettuce (pieces) Green pepper Radishes Celery Carrots Red and/or yellow peppers (Any other "dry" vegetables --- no tomatoes or cucumbers) 2 tbsp. sugar 10 pieces crumbled crispy bacon 2 c. mayonnaise Shredded Cheddar cheese Layer all vegetables in glass bowl, one layer at a time (see through glass bowl looks pretty) or in large 9x13 glass casserole dish. After vegetables, layer frozen peas. "Frost" peas with mayonnaise, sprinkle mayonnaise with sugar, cover with shredded Cheddar and top with bacon pieces. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before using. |
