BUTTERNUT COLD OVEN POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
5 lg. eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. plain flour
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring

In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together salt and flour then add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Add flavorings. Pour into greased and floured cake pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 3/4 hours.
