BARBECUE SPARERIBS 
2 lbs. spareribs
Brown sugar

SAUCE:

1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 jar chili sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika

Rub rib slabs with brown sugar. Brown under broiler. Cut into individual ribs. Saute onions in oil until transparent. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes. Place ribs in baking pan. Spoon half the sauce over the ribs. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve with remaining sauce. Serves 4.
