BAKED SPARERIBS FROM HAWAII 
5 lbs. country style spareribs
Water
2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. Worcestershire or oyster sauce
1/2 tsp. Accent
1 c. catsup

Place the ribs in a large saucepan and cover with water. Add ginger and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Drain well.

Combine remaining ingredients and mix with ribs. Marinate overnight. Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 30 minutes, or grill over charcoal until cooked through. Serves 4.
