“LEMON CAKE PIE” IS IN:

LEMON CAKE PIE 
1 tbsp. butter
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup milk
1 lemon, grated rind and juice
2 egg whites, beaten until stiff
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Beat together butter and sugar, add beaten egg yolks, lemon juice, rind and milk.

Stir together baking powder and flour; add. Stir in beaten egg whites and put into an unbaked 8-inch pie shell.

Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes and then 350°F for 45 minutes.

Yield: 6 servings.
