CORN LIGHT BREAD 
2 c. self-rising meal
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. shortening, melted

Mix meal, flour, and sugar. Add buttermilk and shortening. Pour in greased loaf pan or tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. May be served hot or cold.
