3 egg whites 2 1/2 tbsp. cold water 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3 tbsp. sugar Beat 3 egg whites and cold water until frothy, then add cream of tartar, salt, and vanilla. Beat until stiff, next add sugar. Beat stiff so peaks form, pike onto the pie, and spread it out to the crust all the way around. Bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees. The 3 steps of beating given in the recipe are very important. |
