BAKED MEATBALLS WITH SAUERKRAUT 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef (chuck)
1 c. bread crumbs
1 pkg. onion soup mix
3 eggs

Combine above. Make small meatballs.

SAUCE:

1 bottle chili sauce
1 equal bottle water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 med. can sauerkraut

Layer meat, sauerkraut, meat, sauerkraut in a 3 quart casserole.

Pour sauce, which has been mixed and heated until sugar dissolves, over meatballs and sauerkraut.

Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
