CHERRY SALAD DELITE 
1 can pie cherries
1 lg. pkg. cherry Jello
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. hot water (boiling)
1 sm. can crushed pineapple

Drain juice from cherries and heat to boiling with sugar and water. Pour mixture over Jello and stir to dissolve. Add cherries and crushed pineapple. This is a very firm salad and works well in individual molds or a large mold. More water may be used if it seems a little firm for your taste. Great for Christmas with Cool Whip frosting and green and red cherries.
