MY MEATLOAF
2 lbs ground beef (lean is best, you can also use turkey)
1 cup bread crumbs (crushed stuffing works wonders)
2 eggs
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. granulated garlic
2 tsp. parsley
1 pkg. onion dip or soup mix (you can use 2 tbsp of onion powder or dehydrated onion in place of dip mix)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup ketchup

In a large bowl mix beef, bead crumbs, eggs, sage, celery salt, garlic, parsley, onion mix, cream of mushroom soup, and 1/2 cup cheese. Mix very well. Transfer mixture to a greased loaf pan, pour ketchup on top and cover with remaining cup of cheese.

Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours on middle rack. You may want to put loaf pan on a cookie sheet to catch drippings for easy cleanup. Ovens vary so check after 1 hour.

Side dish suggestions: Baked Potatoes - if you put in 15 or 30 minutes (depending on size) after meatloaf they will be done at the same time.

My Husband loves this meatloaf! (better than his mom's lol) Enjoy!
