SWEET POTATO LOAF 
1 1/2 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt, optional
1/3 c. seedless raisins
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
Dark corn syrup or maple syrup
Whipped cream

Combine sweet potatoes, mashed bananas and milk then add sugar, salt, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and eggs. Stir until well blended in medium size bowl. Pour into a well greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven until firm and golden, about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Carefully loosen edges of loaf dish. Let cool a bit then spoon syrup over it as a glaze. Cut into serving pieces. Serve with whipped cream. Yields 12 servings.
