BROCCOLI & POTATO SOUP WITH
VENISON SAUSAGE
 
6 red potatoes peeled and diced
1 celery stalk
1/2 half onion ( optional)
1 small bell pepper
1 bundle of broccoli
4 cups water
1 cup chicken broth ( low sodium)
1 link of venison sausage
1 can of evaporated milk
Chives
Cheese (shredded )

Add water and chicken broth to crockpot. Wash and peel potatoes, cut into bite size. Chop celery, onion, and bell pepper into small pieces. Cut the tops of the broccoli off removing the stems. Add all ingredients to the crockpot, then slice venison sausage into bite sizes and layer on top.

Cook on high for 4 hours or low 10 hours. Stir in evaporated milk during the last hour, mash potatoes with potato masher to desired texture.

Serve and top with chives and cheese. Enjoy!

Option: You can add frozen mixed vegetables if desired in the last hour.
