RAISED DONUTS 
1 1/2 c. hot milk
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
4 1/2 - 5 c. flour
1 c. potatoes, mashed

Mix potatoes, butter, salt, milk, eggs and sugar together. When lukewarm, add yeast and flour. Set aside to raise. Punch down once and let raise. Then put on floured board and cut into donuts, do not cut holes. Let raise. When ready to bake, put hole in with finger. Bake at 350 degrees.

GLAZE:

1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. corn starch
4 tbsp. butter, melted
Vanilla
Enough warm water to make glaze.
