CARAMEL SUPREME | |
1 1/2 c. flour 2 sticks butter 3/4 c. uncooked oatmeal 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream 2 jars caramel topping Mix first 5 ingredients and spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool and crumble. Put 3/4 of crumbs in the bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan and drizzle 1 jar of caramel over this. Spoon softened ice cream over this and then sprinkle remaining crumbs and topping on top. Freeze, cut in squares, and top with whipping cream and cherry. Cool Whip may be substituted if preferred. Two deep dish plates may be used instead of the long pan and cut into pie shaped pieces. Serves 20. |
