CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
1 1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
Dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Sprinkle 1/2 cup pecans in greased 10 inch tube pan. Set aside. Cream butter and cheese. Add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and salt, stirring until combined. Stir in vanilla and remaining 1 cup of pecans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on rack.

ICING:

1 stick butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
Chopped pecans, optional

Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Add sugar and milk until desired consistency.
