STICKY BUNS 
3/4 c. milk, scalded
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. corn oil
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. warm water
1 egg, well beaten
3 1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix milk, sugar, salt, and corn oil. Cool to luke warm, stir yeast into water until dissolved, mix in milk mixture, add egg. Stir in enough flour to make stiff. Turn into floured board. Knead. Place in greased bowl, cover. Let rise 1 1/2 hours, spread 3 tablespoons butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, pecan halves over dough. Spread with 3 tablespoons butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar and cinnamon, roll up. Slice. Pour corn syrup on. Cover and let rise 40 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees 20 to 25 minutes, turn out.
