PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. sugar 2 c. lard (or shortening) 1 egg 1 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 c. water Mix together flour, baking powder and sugar. Add lard (or shortening); mix well. Add eggs, vinegar and water and blend together. Makes 3 double crust 10 1/2 inch pie crusts. Bake as directed for your pie recipe or freeze for further use until ready to bake. |
