3 egg yolks
1 c. brown sugar
3 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla

Beat egg yolks. Add sugar, mix well with cornstarch. Add milk and salt. Cook in double boiler until thick. Add butter and vanilla. (Also can make in microwave.)
