CHEESE BROCCOLI SOUP 
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
1 c. shredded American cheese
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 c. water
10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli

Cook onions in butter until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon in water, add bay leaf. Add milk, cook until thick, stirring consistantly. Add cheese until melted, take off heat. Add cooked broccoli. Remove bay leaf.
