PEANUT BUTTER TANDY KAKES | |
4 eggs 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 pinch salt 1 c. milk, scalded 2 tbsp. butter, melted 6 oz. jar peanut butter (creamy) 1 jumbo Hershey bar Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla together. Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix again. Add scalded milk and melted butter. Mix until thoroughly blended on medium speed. Pour in greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes. Remove when done and spread immediately with peanut butter. Refrigerate until peanut butter hardens on cake. Melt Hershey bar over double boiler and spread over hardened peanut butter. Cool. Tip: Cut into squares before chocolate hardens completely. |
