1 box German Chocolate cake mix
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
50 caramels
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. milk

Follow directions on cake box for cake. Divide in half. Bake first half 15 minutes at 350 degrees. When done, put chocolate chips on top. Melt caramels with 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup milk. Put melted caramel on top of chocolate chips. Pour other half of cake mix on top and bake 20 minutes longer at 350 degrees. Put chopped nuts on top while still warm. This is very rich.
