ROUND STEAK SAUERBRATEN 
2 lb. round steak (1/2" thick)
2 env. brown gravy mix
1 tbsp. minced onion
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar (wine or regular)
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 bay leaf
Hot buttered noodles

Cut meat into 1 inch squares. Brown meat in 1 tablespoon hot oil. Remove meat from skillet; add gravy mix and 2 cups water. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir in next 6 ingredients, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Add meat. Turn into casserole dish. Cover; bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Remove bay leaf. Serve on noodles. 6 servings.
