ROUND STEAK SPECIAL 
2 (1/4" thick) round steak, cut into pieces
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. shortening
1 med. onion, chopped
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water

Combine flour, salt and pepper. Pound into steak. In skillet, brown steak on both sides in hot shortening. Arrange steak in 13 x 9 inch dish. Mix together onion, onion soup, water and mushroom soup. Pour over steak. Bake in covered dish at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
