TWO CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE CAKE | |
1 pkg. "Pillsbury Plus" butter recipe chocolate cake mix 1 c. water 1/2 c. butter, melted 3 eggs 2 tbsp. flour FILLING: 1/3 c. sugar 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. finely chopped nuts 1/4 c. sugar GLAZE: 1/2 c. ready-to-spread fudge frosting Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour bottom only of 13 x 9 inch pan. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into pan. In small bowl, beat 1/3 cup sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and egg until fluffy; stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spoon tablespoonfuls of filling evenly over batter; sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. In small saucepan, heat frosting just until melted, stirring constantly. Drizzle over cake. Store in refrigerator. 16 servings. |
