PIE APPLE CAKE 
5 c. sliced green apples
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 eggs

Place apples in 9 inch pie plate. Combine 1/3 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Sprinkle all but 2 teaspoons sugar and cinnamon mixture on apples. In bowl cream butter. Add remaining 1 cup sugar, flour and eggs. Spread mixture over apples. Top with reserved 2 teaspoons sugar and cinnamon.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cake will not be firm when done.
