CARROT PUDDING 
1 c. raw carrots (2 lg.), ground in food grinder
1 c. raw potatoes (2 med.), ground in food grinder
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. currants
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Cook raisins and currants to plump. Chop if you wish. Mix all ingredients together and pour into clean one pound coffee cans to half full to allow room for rising. Steam 2 hours. Makes 2 one pound coffee cans. You may add 1 package mixed candied fruit.
