SOUR CREAM CAKE 
1 Pillsbury Double Dutch Devil's food cake
1 pkg. Betty Crocker Creamy white frosting mix
Sour cream (12 oz. carton)

Add 2/3 cup sour dairy cream to 1 package Creamy white frosting mix in small mixing bowl. Chill.

In large mixer bowl, blend 3/4 cup sour cream, 1 package cake mix, 2 eggs, 3/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Bake in two 8 or 9 inch layer pans, 25 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Add 1/4 cup soft butter to sour cream and frosting mix. Blend; beat on low speed one minute. Do not overbeat. Spread between layers and on top.
