SODA FOUNTAIN CAKES 
12 flat bottom ice cream cones
1 layer size yellow cake mix
1 c. creamy white frosting
1/4 c. finely crushed hard candies, chopped nuts or miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces
6 (8") plastic drinking straws

Place ice cream cones in a muffin pan or large baking pan. Prepare cake batter as directed. Fill each cone to within 1 inch of top. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 30 minutes or until done. Remove cakes from pan, then cool completely. Frost top of cakes with frosting. Sprinkle candy, nuts or chocolate pieces on the top of each cake. Cut each straw into 4 pieces. Insert 2 pieces into the top of each cake.

Makes 12 cupcakes.
