1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. raisins
1 egg

Cream sugar and Crisco together. In separate bowl, sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and nutmeg. Add to first mixture. Add raisins and fold in egg. Pour in greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
