TORTILLA SOUP 
2 onions, chopped & sauteed
2 cans stewed tomatoes
2 cans chicken broth
2 tbsp. chile powder
2 tbsp. cumin
Diced cooked chicken (about 1 c.)
Dash of salt & pepper
Diced celery (optional)
Tortilla chips
Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

Combine all ingredients except last 2. Simmer until hot. Place in bowls and sprinkle chips on top. Put cheese on the chips and microwave until cheese melts. You can float an avocado if you want.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
