CHEESY NUT BREAD WITH SAVORY
CHEESE SPREAD
 
1 egg
1 c. water
1 (17 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury Nut Bread mix
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

In large bowl, combine egg and water. Add dry bread mix and cheese. Stir 50 to 75 strokes until dry particles are moistened. Turn into 8x4 or 9x5 inch loaf pan which has been greased and floured on bottom only. Bake at 350 degrees 50-60 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.

Remove from pan and serve with Savory Cheese spread:

2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. steak sauce
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/4 tsp. mustard

Combine all ingredients and mix well.
