POPPY SEED BREAD WITH RASPBERRY
CREAM CHEESE SPREAD
 
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 box poppy seeds
1 1/2 c. oil
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
8 oz. cream cheese, optional
Raspberry jam, optional

Alternately add sugar and oil. One at a time add eggs. Add milk. Combine flour, salt and soda. Sift together. Add to above mixture. Add poppy seeds and nuts. Bake in 2 loaves at 350 degrees until brown, about 45 minutes.

For raspberry spread cream the cream cheese and add jam until desired color and sweetness is achieved.
