1/2 lb. butter 1 lb. box powdered sugar 4 eggs 1 c. self rising flour 1 c. plain flour 1/2 lb. candied cherries, cut up 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, cut up 1-2 c. chopped nuts 2 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Cream. Add self rising flour. In a separate bowl, dredge cherries, pineapple and nuts with plain flour. Stir this into the creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Bake in greased pan at 325 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or 300 degrees for 1 hour 10 minutes. |
