PINEAPPLE FILLING 
1 c. milk
4 tbsp. sugar
Dash of salt
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 eggs
3 tbsp. crushed pineapple
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Put milk in double boiler and heat to boiling point. Mix sugar, salt, flour, eggs and crushed pineapple together. Add hot milk to egg mixture slowly, stirring constantly. Return to double boiler and cook until thick. Cool. Add vanilla.
