1/2 c. chopped onion 3 tbsp. oil 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 1/2 lb. chuck steak 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. mustard Mushrooms and peppers 1 can condensed French onion soup 1/2 c. water Heat oil, saute onion. Mix all but 1 tablespoon flour with salt and pepper. Pound into steak. Add to skillet and brown on both sides. Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, soup, water, peppers and mushrooms. Cook 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Remove from heat and thicken juice with remaining flour. |
