MAMAW'S CHICKEN GUMBO | |
4 chicken breasts 1 large bell pepper 1 1/2 large onions 6 sticks celery 2 bags "Success rice" 2 sticks butter Boil chicken and cut in small pieces. Boil rice. Sauté chicken pieces in butter for a few minutes. Take chicken pieces out of butter. Set aside. Add bell pepper, onion and celery to butter. Sauté until onion becomes clear or changes color. Add chicken to vegetables. Stir. Add cooked rice, mixing well. |
