SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
6 lg eggs
8 oz. sour cream
3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Sift sugar. Cream butter and add sugar slowly, creaming until light and fluffy. Add one egg at a time, beating well each time. Sift dry ingredients three times. Add alternately with sour cream. Use any flavoring desired. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
