SOUR CREAM NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium noodles
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

Cook noodles in boiling salted water according to package directions. Rinse and drain. In a skillet, brown meat in butter. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped onion and noodles. Alternate layers of noodle mixture and meat mixture in 2-quart casserole, beginning with noodles and ending with meat. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.

Bake in a 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned.
