SOUR CREAM NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. noodles
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 c. dairy sour cream
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

Cook noodles in boiling salted water according to package directions. Rinse and drain. Brown meat in butter in skillet. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped onion and noodles. Alternate layers of noodle mixture and meat mixture in a 2 quart casserole, beginning with noodles and ending with meat. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and browned. Yield: 8 servings.
