HUNGARIAN NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
1/2 lb. broad egg noodles (Dutch is good) 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1 (8 oz.) tub cottage cheese or ricotta cheese 1 cup dairy sour cream 1/2 cup sugar Juice of 1 lemon 3 eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup raisins Boil noodles (do not overcook or rinse). Add butter and stir well. Combine the rest of ingredients. Add to the buttered noodles and blend well. Put into a well greased deep 2-quart baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
