AUNT PAULINE'S PECAN STRAWBERRY
COCONUT CAKE
 
1 white cake mix
1 c. oil
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry jello
5 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 c. coconut
1 c. pecans or walnuts
1 c. strawberries sliced

Combine cake mix, jello, oil and milk in a large bowl. Beat. Add 1 egg at a time beating on medium speed after each egg added. Fold in strawberries, nuts and coconut. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

ICING:

(1/2 c.) 1 cube butter
1 lb. powder sugar
1/2 c. cut up strawberries
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Blend well and ice cooled cake.
