PUMPKIN BREAD | |
4 c. sugar 6 eggs 3 tsp. baking soda 1 c. oil or shortening 2 1/4 tsp. salt 5 1/4 c. flour 3 c. pumpkin (1 lg. can) 3/4 tsp. ground cloves 1 c. water 3/4 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. raisins 1 c. chopped walnuts Mix all ingredients except raisins and nuts together in a large bowl. Mix well; then stir in raisins and nuts. Grease coffee cans or bread loaf pans. Fill a little over half full. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. |
