PUMPKIN NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. pumpkin pie mix
1 c. chopped nuts
1-2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 c. soft shortening
2 c. biscuit mix

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and pumpkin. Stir until well blended. Add biscuit mix and spices; blending well. Stir in nuts; pour 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan. Bake 50-55 minutes in 350 degree oven. Makes 12 more muffins or 1 small loaf.
