PUMPKIN NUT BREAD 
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
4 eggs
1/3 c. water
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
1/2 c. raisins; optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Oil two 9 x 5 loaf pans or bundt pans.

Combine flour and next 6 ingredients. In large mixing bowl combine sugar and oil; add eggs, water and pumpkin. Mix well. Gradually add dry ingredients. Stir until blended. Add nuts and blend. Pour batter in pans. Bake 55-60 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. Let cool and glaze if desired.
