SHRIMP STIR FRY 
1 lb. shrimp, deveined
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 med. size onion, cut in cubes
1/2 lb. fresh snow peas
4 cloves garlic, crushed
4 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. corn oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. soy sauce

In a regular skillet or wok pour 4 tablespoons of corn oil. When hot add crushed garlic until almost lightly browned. Add cut up onions and fresh snow peas and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the shrimps. Saute until done and allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, then add the slivered almonds. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce to taste. Increase amount as desired.

Mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1/4 cup water and pour over shrimp and constantly mix ingredient for 1 minute. Serve hot on a platter with steamed rice. Makes 4 servings.
