FAJITA RICE | |
1 1/2 c. minute instant brown rice 3/4 lb. flank steak, cut into thin strips 1 med. onion, sliced 1 each green and red pepper, sliced 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. lime juice 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce 1/4 tsp. black pepper Prepare rice as directed on package, omitting butter and salt. Cook and stir meat, vegetables and garlic in hot oil in large skillet until brown. Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Serve over rice. Makes 4 servings. |
