BEST ICED BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
16 oz. can chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Cream butter and sugar well. Slowly add syrup. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add flour, then chopped nuts (optional). Bake in well greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. Makes approximately 30.

TOPPING:

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring butter, sugar and milk to boil and boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until melted, then add vanilla; beat well with spoon and spread on cooled brownies. Slice when cool and icing set.
